Dear Viewers,
I am so glad to be writing again! Work has
been so hectic and it is incredibly difficult to sneak in a day of peaceful relaxation.
With further ado, I would like to enthusiastically pronounce that I am
abundantly excited because I am having a new baby brother! My family and I had
planned a surprise baby shower for my mother this past week, and from which the
event was quite a success! I had been planning my outfit for; I want to say at least
3 weeks in advance for this wonderful debut! My grandfather’s house seemed like
the perfect location for the party, and not only that, but it just so happens that
I grew up in this very house. Which made the evening extra intimate and
memorable! As you can see my grandfather has a beautiful garden and takes pride
in his backyard. For that I took the advantage while I could, to snap some photos
of my ensemble and to show off my childhood pastime! I am sure this post somewhat
relates to you all, just for the mere fact that we all have that one house or place
that brings back so many unforgettable memories! I encourage you all to revisit
those places and soak in the moment and try to remember all the memories you
cherished. Take pictures, for crying out load! In modern society, everything is
about renovation and making things old, new. Moving right along, I was inspired by floral
and pastels in preparing my outfit for this day! I wanted it to be very casual,
but have statement qualities to what I was wearing. None the less, I didn’t want to steal the
attention away from who this event was for, my mother :) She
looked quite adorable by the way! But anyways, I knew I was going to be running
around so I comforted my feet with some nude flats. Also, as you can see, I am
wearing white denim jeans. Oh yes my friends, I went there! It was a difficult
task at hand to keep these bad boys from getting a smug or two, but as you can see my excellent
precaution skills served me justice! As for my adroable peplum shirt,I don’t know what I quite fell in love with first, the peplum structure of the shirt or the floral print?
Hm, I say BOTH to be fair! I think what my advice for you all today is, plan your outfits according
to your budget and time. If you have an event coming up and you want to look your sheer
best, do not, I repeat, do not wait till last minute! It is the worst feeling
when you aren’t quite confident in what you are wearing , and wish you would
have gotten that other shirt you saw on sale. I am suuuuure all of you
understand and know what I am talking about! I hope you enjoyed my first August
post and stay posted for more features to come!Chao<3
